Kris K. Pitta serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Prudent Resources LLC. Kris is an experienced professional in the energy industry specializing in Business Development and Asset Management. He graduated with M.S. in Petroleum Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology and MBA from the Cornell University.

Since the launch of his career fifteen years ago, Kris has held various positions with increasing responsibility at multiple E&P companies. Kris’s first responsibility as an engineer was to take care of newly acquired PXP properties in New Mexico. He went on to manage assets in Permian Basin, South Texas, and Williston Basin. He also worked as a member of the acquisitions and divestiture team.

He also led strategic planning efforts of Colorado drilling program. Later on, Kris accepted the role of Corporate Engineering Manager where he was responsible for managing companies reserves estimates. Kris recently added published author to his resume with his book Empowered Leadership. He resides in Houston with his wife and two daughters, Abigail and Sophia.
