About the Event
Robert Clarke is Head of Americas Upstream Analysis for Wood Mackenzie. He helps lead valuation modeling, portfolio and asset benchmarking, and M&A analysis for the firm’s Upstream and Carbon Management segment. His role responsibilities include three focus points: generating upstream research papers that delve into value-oriented questions of Wood Mackenzie clients, engaging with operators, OFS and capital providers to help craft the firm’s wider Americas research agenda, and coaching/mentoring other analysts via coauthored work.
Robert joined Wood Mackenzie in 2005 and led the firm’s early modeling of US unconventional plays during the shale exploration boom. Additionally, he managed Wood Mackenzie Global Unconventional Play Service, which included extensive work with Supermajors, NOCs and bulge bracket investment banks to create analogue project characterizations and valuations for exploration assets.
He graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2001 with a BA in Geology and received an MBA in 2005 from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. He is an adjunct professor in the Energy MBA program at the Neeley School of Business at TCU.
