ERIC EVERETT

Eric Everett joined Hilcorp Energy Company in June 2023 and currently serves as Vice President – Business Development.  In this role, he is responsible for origination, negotiation and execution of acquisitions and divestitures across Hilcorp’s portfolio and has led over $4 billion in transactions since joining the company. 

Mr. Everett has over 35 years of experience in the energy industry through roles at Hess Corporation, Nexen Petroleum, Jefferies, Marathon, BHP, Woodside and Hilcorp. His background includes roles in finance, strategy, commercial negotiation and acquisitions and divestitures and he has extensive domestic and international experience including positions in Africa, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.

Mr. Everett earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University

In addition to being on the board of the Houston Producers Forum, Mr. Everett serves on the Advisory Board for ADAM Houston.  He is also a past member of Spindletop Community Impact Partners’ Emerging Leaders Steering Committee, in which oil and gas industry colleagues work to enhance the lives of at-risk youth in Houston through volunteer activity, mentoring and financial support.
