GEOFF VERNON

Geoff Vernon joined Espada Energy Partners in June 2025 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Vernon has more than 18 years of experience working for upstream oil and gas operators across a variety of management roles with a focus on North America.

He was most recently Vice President Business Development for Chord Energy where he was responsible for acquisitions and divestitures as well as sourcing and evaluating strategic growth opportunities. Prior to joining Chord, he served as Vice President Corporate Development for Permian Resources and Vice President Reservoir Engineering and A&D for Earthstone Energy.

Prior to joining Earthstone, Mr. Vernon held positions of increasing responsibility with Southwestern Energy and BP. Mr. Vernon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
